CAV
GT & GTR Headed for South America
Cape Town based company, Auto Futura, manufacturers and exporters of the world
renowned CAV GT sports car, are proud to announce the appointment of a distributor
for Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
To be known as “CAV Brazil”,
the distribution company has its roots in the race car game. CAV Brazil, principal
Miguel Vale with the participation of Amir Nasir of ANR Racing. Together they
bring with them invaluable experience and know-how for the introduction of
the CAV brand into South America. Miguel confirmed that there is definitely
a growing market for the CAV GT and the GTR, as the cars offer superb quality
as well as race bred performance.
ANR Racings high tech headquarters are at the International Autodrome of Brasilia.
CAV Brazil will also have sub dealers throughout Brazil. CAV Brazil have launched
at the Le Mans 24 hour in June. This GTR will be used as the pace car for the
historic series. It will be driven on track by non other than Jackie Oliver,
who along with Jackie Ickxs won the 1969 Le Mans 24 hour, in a GT40, in one
of the most famous races in the history of the event.
Once Miguel saw and experienced the CAV GTR, he said, “I
have to have this car, and I am keeping it for myself”. Owners of Auto Futura, Jean Fourie & John Spence agreed that the smile on his face, after a short ride in the car,
said it all.
