The Auto Futura built CAV GT has evolved from the original and now features many improvements and upgrades. Wherever possible, the revised parts have been done in such a way that they could be retro fitted to older CAV GT’s.

We are now offering the following upgrade kits to all CAV GT owners. The upgrades are available through our distributors. If you have any queries about the items, please email Jean Fourie.

  
     
     
     
 
         
   
The new seat offers more lateral and thigh support. This is an essential upgrade for comfortable driving. The seat is available in two sizes, standard and wide.
  
 
 
         
   
The new pedal box is completely adjustable. The pedals are rigid and the brake and clutch pedals feature a rubber grip. The accelerator pedal can be adjusted to provide progressive opening of the throttle.

  
 
 
     
 
         
   
The new engine mount kit can be easily fitted to an existing CAV GT. There is now one engine kit for the ZF and Audi cars. It has three positions and allows the engine installer to find the optimum position for his particular setup.

  
 
         
   
Improve the look of your engine bay with this stainless steel CNC punched silencer cover.
  
 
 
     
 
         
   
This replaces the leather covered fibreglass switch plate. The aluminium switch plate is black anodised and includes high quality labels for each switch
  
 
 
         
   
This upgrade features a thicker bulkhead cover, complete with sound deadening material. It reduces heat and noise in the cabin. With the addition of a steel plate at the bottom, the bulkhead can now be removed without taking out the center console to get to the engine.
  
 
 
 
   
 
     
 
         
   
The top and bottom yokes are increased in size from 3/8” to ½”. A must if you are going to the track! Includes 2 top yokes, 2 bottom yokes and 4 rose joints.
