Early 2004 Jean Fourie and
John Spence revived the company trading as CAV (hence
CAV GT) and have gone on to stake their claim firmly
in the GT 40 recreation market under the name of Auto
Futura. Extensive research and development has been the
cornerstone of their success. The factory in Westlake,
Cape Town, is a showpiece of engineering with each and
every part setting the highest standard for quality and
precision.
Every CAV GT takes 600 man-hours
from start to completion. This kind of attention to detail
has earned them the international reputation as the best
in the business. Most of the cars are exported and distributors
are located in selected countries.
